This is what I use when listing instant downloads in my Etsy shop.
It seems complicated, but I promise it isn't!
First, find inspiration!
-Browse Pinterest, Instagram, etc. Make sure you stick to your brand when looking for inspiration, don't choose the most popular style you see just because it's popular. Stay true to yourself & your brand!
You can make a mockup in any program that allows you to work in layers. {I use Photoshop CC}
I didn't want a traditional layout for my printable so I chose a watercolor wash as the background.
Choose a frame that fits your style, a transparent background is preferred. {Mine was on a white background so I had to erase around the edges and inside.}
Then I insert the design I'm mocking up and fit it into the frame. Make sure you pay close attention during this step so that it doesn't look messy or out of proportion.
For the instant download copper foil effect I typed instant download (choose a font that fits your style). Choose a dark color and make sure it's in it's own layer. Then I copied and pasted a high quality copper foil image as a new layer. Make sure the foil layer is selected, go to layer and hit 'create clipping mask'. Then your text should have a pretty copper foil effect!
Insert your watermark/transparent version of your logo/etc. and you're done!
I'm linking the images/backgrounds/etc I used below!
